Did you know that when required to wear protective footwear, you have options beyond traditional steel toe shoes or steel toe boots? Composite toe safety shoes & work boots are an excellent alternative. Composite toe safety shoes are often lighter than steel toe shoes and provide the same levels of protection.
To find out more about the differences, read our blog on What are the Differences Between Composite Toe, Aluminum Toe and Steel Toe Safety Shoes and Boots.

Yes, composite or metal-free safety shoes and work boots are CSA certified for protection just like steel toe shoes. Composite toe safety shoes & work boots are often lighter than steel toe shoes. To find out more about the differences, read our blog on What are the Differences Between Composite Toe, Aluminum Toe and Steel Toe Safety Shoes and Boots.
Work boots and safety shoes should fit well when you buy them. Your toes shouldn't be able to wiggle and not touch the toe cap. Your heel should sit snuggly but not too tight. Because of the safety features (toe and plate) built into safety shoes and work boots, they don't loosen up like regular shoes or boots might. We recommend wearing them for a few hours at home before wearing them for a full day of work. After all, you wouldn't wear brand new shoes to go on an 8-hour hike!
Yes, these are waterproof work boots and are ideal for outdoor work or indoor work with exposure to moisture and liquids. If your job site has only light or occasional exposure to water, moisture or liquids then water-resistant work boots may be a better option as they are more breathable. To learn more about the differences, read our blog on Waterproof, water repellent, water resistant: what's right for your work?
Worse boots I have ever owned. I wear them on an average of 12 to 14 hours while working. Difficult to break in, don't breathe, feet always felt damp and sweaty. Fit too loose. No support or padding. Had to add padded insoles.
Really good comfortable and stylish, good quality product with good grip.
Weight is perfect.
This is my second pair of these boots. I'm required to be outside in all winter weather and these boots are very warm and waterproof. Because of the added insulation I recommend ordering a 1/2 size bigger, especially if you're wearing heavy socks.
Only issue I have is the fold at the top of the zipper does irritate my leg if I lace all the way up. Boot is still effective with the top eyelet being un laced.
Much cheaper alternative to other brands but they wear very well and keep my feet dry and warm.
Poor support. Had to add supportive insole. Feet are sore after wearing for a full 12 hoir shift. Where the rubber meets leather separated quickly and they leak. Horrible to break in. Poor breathability, hold foot sweat and odor.
Only reason I got them is I needed new boots and the price was under my boot allowance provided by my employer.
Boots fit well and broke in quick (a little to quick). Boots soles were not comfortable and needed to be replaced right away. to top it off left boot zip broke after one month. Now can't be worn and are garbage.
