Work boots and safety shoes should fit well when you buy them. Your toes shouldn't be able to wiggle and not touch the toe cap. Your heel should sit snuggly but not too tight. Because of the safety features (toe and plate) built into safety shoes and work boots, they don't loosen up like regular shoes or boots might. We recommend wearing them for a few hours at home before wearing them for a full day of work. After all, you wouldn't wear brand new shoes to go on an 8-hour hike!
Yes, these are waterproof work boots and are ideal for outdoor work or indoor work with exposure to moisture and liquids. If your job site has only light or occasional exposure to water, moisture or liquids then water-resistant work boots may be a better option as they are more breathable. I purchased a pair of timberland Boondock on December 23, 2025, in Ottawa Ontario but I end up bringing the boots back with all the tags on it never use on December 30 end up getting a pair of Kodiak boots after two weeks of use my feet was frozen and my socks were all wet and up. Bring the boots back on January 17, 2026 and I told the gentleman that I wanted to go back with the timberland boondocks when I got the boots back. They gave me the same boot that I purchased on December 23 those boots the tags were all gone. The laces were not attached together so those boots people try them or whatever and then they sell it back to me use and then sell me the pair of boots full price I’m not very impressed. it was my first time dealing with mister safety shoes. I will definitely not go back there. You don’t sell me boots that people already try them or whatever and sell me the full price. This is the last time I’ll be going there. I’m not impressed at all.

I was looking for specific features and she showed me my options and I purchased these boots as they met all my needs. Great knowledge of all the products and showed me other items in store that I might be interested in. I did not get her name, but definitely recommend them for all your boot and safety wear needs.
