If you don’t have the original receipt, and we are able to verify your Mister Safety Shoes purchase, we will gladly offer an exchange or store credit. Refunds DO require the original receipt.

What if it’s a manufacturer’s defect? We stand behind all the products we sell. That’s why you can exchange any manufacturer defective footwear up to 6 months from the date of purchase.

Good to know: Refunds are made in the same form of the original payment method you used, so if you paid with a credit or debit card, we’ll refund the purchase on your credit or debit card.

FAQs
1. What is the break-in period for work boots and safety shoes?

Work boots and safety shoes should fit well when you buy them. Your toes shouldn't be able to wiggle and not touch the toe cap. Your heel should sit snuggly but not too tight. Because of the  safety features (toe and plate) built into safety shoes and work boots, they don't loosen up like regular shoes or boots might. We recommend wearing them for a few hours at home before wearing them for a full day of work. After all, you wouldn't wear brand new shoes to go on an 8-hour hike!

2. Are these work boots waterproof?

Yes, these are waterproof work boots and are ideal for outdoor work or indoor work with exposure to moisture and liquids. If your job site has only light or occasional exposure to water, moisture or liquids then water-resistant work boots may be a better option as they are more breathable. To learn more about the differences, read our blog on Waterproof, water repellent, water resistant: what's right for your work?

3. Are these work boots ideal for cold work environments?

Yes, these work boots are insulated and designed for cold work conditions. Optimal Insulation levels also vary by activity level: 200g is ideal for temperatures from 0°C to -10°C with high-activity work, 400–600g works best for temperatures from -10°C to -20°C with moderate activity, and 800 to 1000g is recommended for temperatures with extreme cold temperatures with low-activity, where maximum warmth is needed.

They Don’t Last

Started out great but they won’t last long as other reviews have noted. These were purchased for occasional trail work and not even for every day work use. If you need a work boot for every day, look elsewhere. I’m switching brands. I like Mr. safety Shoes as a store. Hope they have something else to try in my local store in Windsor.

Don't hold up

I needed a pair of boots for a summer co-op job. Being a student, I went with the cheaper option. That was the wrong choice. After 6 weeks, both boots were torn and I ended up needing to buy a new pair before heading back on shift.

Will not last.

I bought these boots, and in less than 2 weeks of daily use, they had split right across the crease where my foot bends. I wore them during hunting season for roughly 7 to 8 hours a day for 4 days, then worked in them for 2-3 days. In the days I worked in them, they were briefly exposed to saltwater brine. This should have no effect. But somehow, they split right where the crease is. If you are a young guy like me, don't cheap out. Don't buy these cheap things.
On another note, the staff at the London Wonderland Rd S store were very nice.

Thank you for your review, Josh.
